Grand River Opera & Opera by Request, Summer 2026
Long before modern cinematic universes, there was the Ring. This is the epic that inspired generations of fantasy storytellers, film and video game composers. It is an intricate world of scheming gods, cursed gold, dragons, and broken swords, all driven by the brilliant use of recurring musical themes called leitmotifs. It is a massive, serialized story, performed live on stage over the course of four special shows.
