A celebration of operatic gender-bending
Featuring a one-act opera, Zanetto, by Mascagni (a tale of a missed love connection),
along with famous 'trouser role' scenes from:
Massenet's Cendrillon
Strauss' Der Rosenkavelier
Offenbach's Tales of Hoffmann
Monteverdi's The Coronation of Poppea
and Mozart's La Clemenza di Tito.
