Hailing from Waterloo Region, soprano Alyssa Bonsi is so excited to be a part of GRO’s 2025 Gala. She holds an Honours Bachelor’s in Music Performance from Western University and recently returned from Ireland where she received a Postgraduate Diploma in Music Performance with Distinction from the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Some of her notable performances include La Fee (Cendrillon), Diana (Orpheus in the Underworld), Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro) and several chorus roles in various productions. She is an avid fan of 20^th Century music and loves sharing its wonderful weirdness wherever she goes.
